本次大会按照惯例仍将举办青年英文优秀论文演讲比赛，包括英语国家的学术演讲比赛和非英语国家的学术演讲比赛，获胜者将获得第28届IUA世界大会的奖品和证书；其中我国青年学者前2名将全额资助参加2019年7月在捷克首都布拉格举办的国际血管联盟青年讲习班，前5名将全额资助参加2019年5月在北京举办的国际血管联盟青年专家腔内介入技术培训班。欢迎优秀的青年学者积极参与。
我们在过去十多年里成功举办了十三届中国首都血管论坛（Chinese Capital Vascular Symposium, CCVS），对推动我国血管疾病的诊断与治疗技术的创新起到了很大的促进作用。而目前血管疾病诊疗的各种新技术飞速发展，为我国血管疾病的治疗起到了非常好的促进作用。我们采用专题讨论形式的学术交流，促进了我国血管外科学术水平的提高，明显缩小了我国与国外的差距。因此我们决定继续举办"第十四届中国首都血管论坛（CCVS）"。
下肢血管疾病学术论坛从2005年开始已经成功举办了十届，今年我们将同期举办第十一届下肢血管疾病学术论坛。
欢迎各位血管方面的专家积极参与，为我国血管事业的发展做出应有的贡献。
